The Godox TP-G2 narrows the spread of light, preventing light from spilling onto areas of the set that you don’t want it to, providing you with more directionality than the Godox TP2R alone.

The TP-G2 Grid Diffuser (also known as an Egg-Crate) attaches to your Godox TP2R RGB LED Pixel Tube, and restricts the spread of light, preventing light from spilling onto areas that you don’t want the light to fall, such as on the background when you are shooting a low-key image. It can also help to prevent lens flare.
