The Godox TL-G8 Egg-Crate Light is designed for use with the GODOX TP8R RGB Pixel Tube Light. Running the entire length of the TP8R’s active light area. The Godox TL-G8 narrows the spread of light, preventing light from spilling onto areas of the set that you don’t want it to, providing you with more directionality than the Godox TP8R alone.

The TL-G8 Grid (also known as an Egg-Crate) attaches to your TP8R RGB LED Pixel Tube, and restricts the spread of light, preventing light from spilling onto areas that you don’t want the light to fall, such as on the background when you are shooting a low-key image. It can also help to prevent lens flare.
